FAQs for Personal Allyship Coaching

Who is Rooted in Allyship™ coaching for?

Rooted in Allyship™ is for white women who are committed to unlearning, taking accountability, and building sustainable allyship with Black women. If you want to move beyond performative gestures and truly integrate anti-racism into your personal and professional life, this coaching is for you.

What can I expect from personal allyship coaching?

Our coaching sessions focus on self-awareness, education, and action. You’ll gain a personalized allyship roadmap, tools for navigating tough conversations, and strategies to build trust and accountability in your allyship efforts.

I’m afraid of making mistakes. Will I be judged?

Allyship is a journey, and mistakes are part of learning. This space is judgment-free but accountability-centered. Our coaching will help you unlearn harmful narratives and develop a genuine, action-oriented approach to allyship.

How is this different from just reading books on anti-racism?

While self-education is a crucial step, books don’t provide direct feedback, accountability, or personalized guidance. Rooted in Allyship™ coaching allows you to ask questions, get real-time guidance, and receive tailored action steps to help you become an informed and active ally.

Is this coaching only about racial allyship, or does it cover other areas?

While the primary focus is allyship with Black women, we also discuss intersectionality, how race connects with gender, class, and other social dynamics, and how to build solidarity across different identities.

How do I know if I’m ready for this coaching?

If you feel discomfort about race conversations but still want to show up better, or if you’ve started your anti-racism journey but aren’t sure how to apply it in daily life, you’re ready. The most important factor is willingness to learn and take action.
